My Avic Z2 just started acting up. At first it was off course, so I adjusted the antenna and that resolved that issue. Then it happened again and after I did that it kept following a course out in la la land. So I took my dash out to make sure the unit nav. antennna was plugged in well and noticed that it was. What could be the problem? I've performed all the updates and did notice that my status was saying NOK which I know is not good. The antenna's getting plenty exposure to the sky what could be wrong. Check the menu status and see how many satelites that you are 'locking' on. Your antenna could be going bad or the cable could be frayed somewhere. You might also want to try resetting your 3D calibration.

"Adjusting" the antenna should make no difference as long as it's flat and on a good metal surface for a ground plane. It could care less how it's oriented.
