Used the search and didn't find my answer. If you do the mute/pbrake bypass by grounding the wire, should you phone dial pad work while your moving? Mine is still greyed out, and I still get the error msg. of the parking brake wire not being installed properly?

Thanks....great site!!

I moved the mute wire, spliced it into the green wire and grounded the green to the chasis? Unless the mute wire came out of the jumper, or I should ground each wire separately?

When you pull the mute wire is it bare wire or does it have a metal piece on the end. When I pulled the mute it had a metal connector type solder on the end.

Dont bother grounding it to the chassis, just connect it to the black gnd wire in the loom. As long as you done that for the green mute wire (having moved it in the connector) and the parking brake wire, it will work.
