today to tried to download idt's new 8.3 download. i have also backed up my info just in case. i got it on my desk top. but this is where im at. i put my sd card in, turn the key on and the machine boots up and pioneer comes up. then after about 20 or so seconds the testmode screen comes up. when i hit the test mode circle the ce sreen starts but then the unit cuts off to a blank screen and i cant accsess the device or hard drive. what can i do?

how many times did it happen? have you tried it again?
first off the pioneer screen should not show up if you have the sd with the leetlauncher files in it, what i would suggest is to try it again if you haven't or reformat the sd and then load the files needed then try it again, let me know how it goes
hey idt i tried to put the all in one with the mitacap and testmode, i tried to put your 8.3. and still the same thing. i know your mod works perfect i had it on before. i also tried with just mita cap ,leetlauncher and test mode on, it will goto pioneeer screen then begin to copy the files(the screen turns grey with a green little box.) but as soon as it gets to the end of the coping the unit shuts off.i think i have downloaded all the files and i have my back up too. maybe im not putting the files in the right order or right folder. wierd. well ill keep trying. just for one more go i just tried to reformat my sd card then i redownloaded your 8.3 again. now with yours i got alittle further but not much. now pioneer comes up then after 10 seconds it shows the black pioneer screen with the test mode circle but then shuts off? do you think i bricked my unit?

ok, let me get this clear, are you using the cmh's AIO installer or just my extract to sd, my extract to sd doesn't have the mitacap folder,

is your unit still working or is it bricked? the thing is you mixed both the AIO and the extract to SD and you did not put the file in the right folder then that would be the problem,
hey idt i talked to the dealer and they said since its a primier and its only been 15 days, they are going to send ME a prepaid ups and then after they get it, i get a brand new one. Wow i was amazed!! yea i think just like you said it may be bricked!! But thank you and thanks to all of the people on this thread it has been so fun and exciting doing the mods. the look and operate super? i just had this short coming but ill be back and modding again. i cant ever go back to the plain jane boring pioneer stock bull. hell if i didnt read this site before getting the unit i would have never got it. you guys really make the in car expirence a whole lot more enjoyable! thanks and until again!!!

good thing it still under warranty whatsoever, also, next time don't experiment with AIO and other stuff if you're not sure on what you're doing
