First time posting on the site but been browsing it for a few months. Great stuff!

So here is the problem i've had my unit installed in my 04 civic for about 6 months now, and this morning i went in to tighten up the speaker wires because they would disconnect i guess from bad wiring on my part. While i was in their i went ahead and tightened up all my wires but what concerned me is my ground wire was missing is wiring cap. Anyways after tightening my wires my unit will no longer power on. I have tested all my fuses they are fine. Even checked the voltages on my wires and they are fine. Any one have any suggestions are clues on what to do here i would much appreciate it.

_thanks in advance

check fuse on back of unit? second issue, ditch the wire nuts and either solder the wires or go get some butt connectors and redo everything, wire nuts are the worst thing to use.

yeah i checked the fuse on the back of the unit. Good call on the whole solder thing i think i will go and do that in the morning. Im going to replace a few fuses just to be sure. I will let you know how everything works out, Thanks for the input though.

I'm really posting this reply for anyone in the future who this bit of information may or may no help. I went through all my fuses again this time i even checked the fuses under my hood (yes, i have t2 sets of them) One was blown and when i replaced it my aVic worked just fine. Thought it was kindof weird considering my radio and acc fuses were fine but thanks again for the feedback. great site again.
