F900BT - New Install - Reboots When Moving

So.. I'm having an issue and am at a dead end at this point in troubleshooting.

I have an AVIC900 installed in my car (Scion TC) which works beautifully. This past week my girlfriend made the decision to get one for her car as well (Honda Civic). Installed and working perfectly when the car is standing still.

Once the car is driven and reaches any amount of movement, the unit reboots itself - comes up - get's a GPS lock and reboots once again.

What I've tried so far:

Deleting the gpspara3.bin, gpspara2.bin, gpspara1.bin, and gpspara0.bin files. The files are instantly recreated, even from within Test Mode.

Reinstalling 2.0 update

Copying entire contents of my "My Flash Disk" from my working unit to her unit

Copying entire contents of the \Windows folder from my working unit to her unit

Applying CMH's Mod

At this point, testing after each change - I've had the same result. Any thoughts or other steps I can try? There must be something I'm missing. It seems the GPS works fine at a standstill. It gets a lock. Shows accurate location and doesn't reboot but as soon as the car is put into motion - bam. Reboot after reboot.

Appreciate any help..

have you done a bypass?

I did in fact, have you seen this tied to that?

not sure, but if you said you've already tried CMH mod which has the software bypass then it means that the problem is not the bypass,

I guess its more of a hardware question, but some tie in with the bypass does at least make logical sense - the unit is both hardware bypassed and software bypassed (via cmh's mod) - though the issue occurred even before the soft bypass was added via the mod.

Is it possible the bypass was somehow botched causing the unit to reboot when it hits the restricted speed v. Well... Bypassing?

I had the unit installed professionally by the same people that did my install and have faith in that aspect of things, I've done all the software digging and have rooted from oem to mod and back to oem. Not sure where to look at this point...

As an addendum..

Searching the forums I see mention that the gps files should be deleted in order, I selected them all and deleted them in one swoop - I'm curious if that had any impact. Ill be going back to try them in the order mentioned ... Though I would assume it wouldn't have an impact.

Once again, any thoughts are appreciated..

SUCCESS! :D

I did two things before testing again. Hard reset (Reset + Menu +Map+ Eject) and deleted the GPS files IN ORDER

Not sure which of the two fixed the issue but after two short 10 minute drives and no restart it seems the issue is resolved. Weee!
