Hello all. I just finished installing the F700BT and have a problem getting to the mute options in the "AV settings". I did dpdurst's mod which had the software mod for the navigation bypass. The mute wire is not hooked up to anything, I have it wrapped around the AV preouts and inputs. Is this supposed to be hooked up to something to gain the ability to select how I want the unit to do its muting? I want to disable the muting but the button to do it is greyed out. I was going to try a search but wasn't sure what parameters to use. Thanks.

Nevermind. Found the answer.

Well, what's the answer? I have the same problem.

You must turn off the A/V source that is playing before you can change the mute setting (I have no idea why, that's just how Pioneer designed it).
