I'm from Holland and I really love this forum

I found this forum last week, and there is so much information to read that I dont know what are must have hacks/mods.

This is my situation, I just bought the F700 BT last week and I found out that the maps which are on the device are old, they are from sept or oct 2007. I send an email to Pioneer Holland and asked for new maps, well they told me that I could buy new maps in their store for 149 euro's and that the new maps are available at the end of June or the beginning of July. I think that's balony, I bought a new device and the least thing that can do is provide me with the latest maps but they are not gonna. Well I'm not gonna pay 149 euro's for the new maps, So basicly I'm looking for a way to get some recent maps ( Holland and Europe) on my F700 BT.

What are my options, what mod or hack should I download and try. Radio and BlueTooth are must haves and I dont wanna go without those 2 options.

I hope that I get some info, on how to accomplish this.

first do the 2.005 update, then you make a backup of all files with testmode.

then you find the 2009.2 maps on this forum, the cracked ezrider and the licensefile(the last 2 are in the cmh mod)

these you put on your device with testmode and your ready to go.

how testmode works you can vind on this forum

in dutch:

eerst de 2.005 update doen, dan een backup maken met testmode.

dan ga je hier zoeken naar de 2009.2 maps en een gekraakte ez-rider en licentie(de laatste 2 zitten onder ander in de cmh mod)

dit zet je met testmode in je apparaat en klaar is kees.

hoe de testmode werkt kun je hier ook vinden.

ik kreeg precies hetzelfde antwoord toen ik mailde naar pioneer....

i'd rather read the hacks thread first instead to get familiar with everything before proceeding with any mods
