I am trying to locate the speed sensor through the data link connector. I have found the data link connector in my car but don't know what pin# or color wire it is? I have attached a picture of the diagram.

Is it pin # 6??

Also what does .3Y and MO5 mean?

The diagram you posted is a block diagram, do you have other diagrams braeking down this diagram?

What kind of car is it you're talking about? I can probably get the wire color for you instead of trying to make sense of that diagram.

I am attaching some photos. Please take a look, because PIN#6 is a white wire. That's if I'm reading it right.

One the actual harness there are numbers ranging from 1-18. There is a yellow wire on pin#6 if you were to read the wires from right to left, however the actual number on the harness states #3. ??????

Yes you want the yellow wire, sometimes the pin number can be mixed up as in your case the person who got the info just counted the pins wrong.

Cool, which harness did you order. If memory serves me correctly your car actually uses the new ford harness. The metra number is 70-5520 if you need it.

So how did your install go?? Did you confirm the VSS wire location? I have the same issues and from what I saw most of the postings answering this were incorrect. (Pin number vs wire color)
