My maps look like this... is this what all of you see?

I can see buildings and all...

But it seems to be around my home area only...

As I start moving, the map get cut off and then changes to low resolution, where you see streets only (not pictured). No more buildings details.

Is this normal?

This is normal. The map detail level just depends on where you are...

So in my case, only downtown area is like this? huh weird.

Yep, I only see it in downtown areas too.
