I think I know the answer to this, but any ideas on how to use the inputs for the video portion - but still keep uadio playing (on fm, cd, usb mp3, etc...)

I am trying to think of options to display engine information on the screen through the video input.

Others may be able to come with a more elegant solution, but couldn't you RCA in on your back-up camera input(if not already use)? If in use already, you could use a switch or "Y" cable. I don't have a back-up camera myself, but I would think your audio would still be functional when active. Just a thought.

hmmm - that's an interesting idea.

I am not using the reverse camera and could potentially set it up and activate it by the reverse lead...

I will have to keep that option on the table to investigate.

if you did go the backup camera way , you would have to figure out something with the warning message.
