Does anybody know how to put on the screen an indication that bluetooth is active?

On occasions my phone does not connect, and I do not realise until I receive a call or try to make one.

Mine has a blue light on the front panel that lights up when the phone is connected, F900BT, what model do you have ?

You should have a blue light indicator right by the sd card slot. We wouldnt need one on the map screen.

yeah same i've got the F900BT and it has a little blue light next to the SD slot that flashes when connected

My blue light next to the SD slots lights up all the time when its paired and connected. have you tried to re-pair your phone to the unit? There should be no reason that intermittently it does not connect unless its not in range or the bluetooth is turned off on the phone.
