I checked the book and can't find where to get rid of the white dot that is left on the map when you travel. Am I missing something? My maps roads look like pac man.

turn off route tracking. the dots appear whereever you have traveled before.

thanks, seems like i tried that before and they didnt go away immediatley but i never turned the car off and back on before reverting back. I'll give it another try.

There is also an option for track current route also. You still have the white dots, but only for your current trip. When you turn the car off, those white dots disappear and start over again on your next trip. Actually comes in hand sometimes. Just something to keep in mind.
