Hello,

I just installed the 2.006 update and everything completed fine... Now when the Unit turns on I see my "Splash Screen" and then it just goes black and stays black... I created a new testmode SD card and now I cant even boot into testmode anymore. I also cannot eject the CD the is in the CD Player

Does anyone know what I can do to get my F700-bt working again??? Is there a way I can completely reformat/format the drive and reinstall the original software to start over from scratch?

Im not sure how to proceed with this and I am looking for anyone that can point me in the right direction. I cant boot into testmode so I dont know what I can do to format the drive???

im in the same boat, i made a test card sd and it doesnt boot to test mode?? i put the files in the sd card, the mitacap and testmode but to no avail yet.

also where is this oem reset tool? i tried to open the link but it appears to be dead. i just got this head unit i cant believe how much problems its giving me.

just tried it, extracted it, opened test mode, highlighted all the contents, all 13 icons, pasted it into my reformated sdhc card with sd card adapter (FAT32), tried it and no avail still =( incase your wondering i was able to update it to 2.006 with this same card.

the new update worked for awhile, once i shut off the car however it never worked since, always stuck on the usually booting msg screen with the 3 icons.

scratch that, dont open the folder and copy and paste the icons lol, just got it working now im gonna figure out how to get my deck working, THANKS GUYS

thought i posted a reply but it didnt go through? so anyway i went with how to reload your 2.0 data but it seems that my igo folder isnt as big as what the guide says? the igo folder is supposed to be 1.5gb mines only like 2kb or so?

i'm having the same problem. i can't get my unit into test mode. i'm currently trying to get the v2.3 rar files on my card to get it into test mode that way but it seems like the file is incomplete. how exactly and WHAT exactly do you put onto the card?

i DL'd the v2.3 .rar file but it isn't a complete file. so i can't open it on my computer. it's 692 KB but there is a root file missing or something. needless to say it doesn't do shit to my avic when it is started and that's on the SD.

please school me someone.

OK... so I downloaded and unzipped the testmode 2.3 and put it on my SD card and I still CANNOT get my unit to boot into testmode... There seem to be a lot of files in the new test mode 2.3 so I copied them all to my SD card... Can someone verify what files actually need to be there... If im able to get into test mode is there a way I can reload the original 2.0 software and start over... Its like the unit doesnt have an OS on it anymore and doesnt know what to do!

im in the same boat... trying to reload the software

get this, when i try to delete the files in myflashdisk it says it cant delete my igo folder?

guys i still havent been able to fix my problem, ive got the virgin 2.0 files,

ive deleted all the files in my flash disk

ive loaded the 2.0 update through my sd card

every time i try to copy over my igo folder, it keeps saying not enough disk space, how is that possible? please help guys this deck is brand new and i barely even got to use it for an hour and ive had nothing but problems these past 5 days

also id like to add that my igo folder keeps making these corrupted files, they have square and other weird symbols, i cant delete them?

this sounds like a bad flashdisk...I had this once problem with my sd-card.

You better contact your seller.

is there another way to delete my igo folder besides just going to the icon and deleting it? like a command prompt or something?

just wanted to let everyone know i got it fixed, and a BIG thanks to the forum and AnonNomis, and another gsxr 1k for their big help on different steps i needed. ill post what i did

first off, save your igo folder, stupid me deleted it but big thanks to another gsxr 1k for providing me with the stock one.

if your like me with corrupted files you cant do anything really, so what i did was goto control panel, storage manager, and unmounted the flash disk, the size was 1.8 gb, also memorize what partition it was, a few people have pat0 i had pat00. so basiclly you unmount the 1.8gb flash disk, click format, then click "new" on the right side and type in the partition, again either pat0 or pat00, this will bring back myflashdisk to your menu.

now after thats all set-up your flash disk is brand new, if you have a copy of all the f700 files go ahead and just paste it over through sd, and thats about it, fixed EVERYTHING.

and that should get you back onto your feet

how do you "type" in WinCE? I think this solution is going to work for me, but I don't know how to set the partition name of the new partition....any help?

i have the f700bt i used the x910bt update now my f700bt is messing up how can i fixes it??? it keep saying fatal app ezride and the system will shut down is there anyway to do a hard reset or just reboot it i had the 2.6 and was trying to put that 3.01 on my 700 by used x910bt can anyone help me????

you mean the 2 files and WINCE upgrade via service mode?

That I did 3 times with success, but still no boot....
