does anyone know of a charging adaptor that works with the new 4th gen ipod nano's, the CD-i200 cable, and the avic D3? I've been researching and both the scosche passPORT and the griffin adaptor are not compatible with pioneer HU's apparantly. Very frustrating. Any ideas?

i have a passport and it charges my new nano just fine. it might be because of the car you drive. on the apple store listing there should be of list of which cars are compatible with the passport.

really!? its just everywhere on the internet Ive looked it says that the scosche passport will not work. So just to clarify you have:

the new ipod nano 4th generation chromatic,

the Avic D3,

and the CD-i200 cable... and it allows the ipod to charge?

I just want to be sure so that I dont waste my money on something that is incompatible.

thanks.

you don't have to worry about spending money. if you order it from the apple store, and it doesn't work, then just take it to an apple store in person and get your monewy back. yeah i have the new nano in yellow and the ipod wire.

i just ordered a Kensington adapter from here: http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?InvtId ... n=K33368US. I used the coupon code "dealtaker" and got 10% off, ending up costing $18.79 shipped. This is suppose to work on the D3. Will post results when I get it. :D

ah really... thats awesome, thanks stonecoldnimrod. i'll definitely buy one from the apple store and give it a try. I wonder why people have said that it wont charge the new ipod nano? so you never remove your ipod from your D3 apart from to add songs?

and yeh post the results of the kensington adaptor please street_stallions.

thanks
