just wondering if anyone knows what is a safe way to clean the the touch screen on the d1 /d2 units?

Well, I use very handy disposable moist cleaning cloth dispensor that is designed for laptop/LCD screens. After gently wiping the screen I use a little micro fibre clothe to dry the screen to a beautiful streek free finish, this takes seconds to do. You can find this stuff in the computer accessories department at your local electronics store. :wink:
