I JUST HOOKED UP MY NEW AVIC 90BT AND EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT. BUT I CANT SEEM TO GET THE VOICE RECOGNATION TO WORK AT ALL. I PUSH UP ON THE WHEEL AND NOTHING HAPPENS. Which version do you have ?? the european avics do not have voice recognition, only the US versions...

i bought it in the United States. i has the lil picture of the pac man looking thing lol above the spinning knob? is there anyway i can tell the difference btween a us and eurpean model?

You don't "push up on the wheel" you press it in, as described in the manual.

And did you hook up the microphone? you need the external mic, there isn't one built-in

yes i hooked up the mic. i pushed up and pushed in. both ways nothing happend.
