I looked all over this forum and could not see anyone having this issue... everything on my system works fine, no hacks done (except the parking brake bypass). My ipod touch is the new generation, recently updated to the Apple version 3.00 software.
When I select the ipod, it launches, I can go through all of my playlists, albums, etc, but as soon as a song starts playing, the thing freezes. No changing songs, no changing to a different source, no maps - nothing. It seems the only way to stop the thing is to shut the car off, restart it, and quickly go in and select the radio or something else before the ipod takes over again.
I have the "proper" cable from Pioneer, and even after updating the AVIC to ver 2.006 (and updating the phone to 3.00), the only thing that has changed is now I have to do the disconnect/reconnect thing before the ipod will launch - which it never did before. ![]()
Any suggestions!
