Anyone know how far you can turn the headunit up before it starts distorting? I was trying to set my gains and it seems like the sound is clear all the way up to 40?

sometimes that happens to me, but it depends on the quality of the song also if its crappy it will start to distort on me at about 35 so most of the time i try to keep my max vol around 30. Aslo I have my SLA at +4

it seems as the sound doesn't fully come to life untill you turn the knob till 30-35... Anything wrong with this picture?

i believe it has to do with the 2.2volt pre amp out puts on the d-3
