Hello all,

hoping someone can help me or point me in the right direction. I currently have over 1000 phone numbers stored in my blackberry and have tried to transfer them to the avic-f500bt. Unfortunately, I receive the "not all business cards could be read due to limited memory capacity".

I do know this is due to Pioneer restricting the number of contacts to approx 200 per device, after calling Pioneer they stated that the avic units will accept approx 200 contacts per phone and 5 phone's can be paired.

does anyone know if this is editable an editable field? This is the only thing holding my avic back, any help is appreciated

What if I was willing to throw some greenbacks into the mix, would that trigger a response?

If your willing, you could hit me up via pm

I've posted the same issue a while ago but nobody answered me either..

I think that means it's not possible

You can manually edit the phonebook database with SQLite Expert Personal 2 edition on your PC. Make a copy of the database file which is stored on My Flash Drive\user\userdata\phonedata and paste it to an SD card. Open the file with the SQL lite application on your PC. You can add contacts manually. It may be possible to export the contacts from your phone to an CSV file and then import them into the db but I have not tried that. I had 600 contacts in my iPhone 3GS. I did not need all of them so I removed what I did not need and manually added the rest. Copy the edited file back to the F500BT. This can be a pain to maintain if you add/remove contacts frequently.

whith that being said, shouldn't there be a writable field that can be edited to allow say 1000 contacts?
