Hey guys, I finally got leet launcher to load with sound. But I dont know how to get the Igo8 and tomtom maps ect.. to load up?

Do I need to do something with testmode 2.3 like change the licence ,maps, EZRIDER.EXE ? I have searched for a while. I cant find the right answer. Maybe Im not searching the right topic.

I dont under stand these directions fully

---------------------------------------------------------

0. Download and install Leet's launcher from this topic - http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=18522

1. Download the igo8 Patched file here - http://rapidshare.com/files/152102819/iGo8.zip.html

2. Put yout unit in testmode

3. Enter the Storage Card

4. Enter the Igo8 directory

5. Copy the contents of the downloaded file to that directory - remember to keep the directory structure. (overwrite the other files from leet 3.0 in that DIR? or wip the Dir and load the igo8 patched file?)6. Copy the map to the igo8/content/map directory

7. Copy the 3dl to the igo8/content/building

8. Copy the POI file to the igo8/content/poi

9. Copy the speedcam.txt file to the igo8/content/speedcam

10. Reboot and enjoy your Igo8

Are we talking about copying over files from the units onboard flash Dir?

got it to work finally..

Yes you need to copy all the files from your backup or flash memory on your unit over to the Leetloader SD folder. YEs you need to erase the Igo8 contentse and replace them with the patched files then copy over the files as needed..

I hope this helps someone. :-) Do I need to track down the garmin and tomtom files that work with the unit :-)

Yes, would be nice. :D:D:D

Since Pioneer wants about 200 Euro for actual maps...

and I am not a 100% fan from igo...

Had TomTom before and liked it more (not the announcements but the maps), with Garmin I have no experience... :?:

Are there differences in e.g. speed and handling between the three opportiunities?

For screenshots I can look myself....

Thanks!
