i had the d3 sold that vehicle, now got another truck i bought the 700bt, i hook the iphone to the ipod cable, and i can see all the songs on the hu, but no sound, how do i fix this issue, thanks

Change AV Source to iPod in the AV Menu.

Why would you call something junk because you can't figure out how to use it (reading the manual miiiiight help). That seems like skewed logic to me.
