Bluetooth/Voice Command Problem

Just installed a F900 model and was able to use voice commands and the bluetooth worked okay once. Now I can't get any voice commands to work and during a phone call I basically have to scream into the mic for someone to hear me at all. Normal talking isn't even audible on the other end. Calls come in fine and I can hear them. I'm using an iPhone 3G if it matters. I did update the firmware and verified in the menu. Thanks in advance!!!

Same problem here. I just installed my 90bt and it has never made a call with a voice command. It understands call but never a name - just keeps telling me to say the name or number of the person I wish to call. My audio is also practically useless from the other end too. If you get within a couple of inches of the mic it will work, but obviously this is not an option. I have also tried the upgrade with no change and I too am using an iphone 3g (tried a razr with the same result). Thanks for any help you guys might offer here....

I got it... Problem solved. I just wanted to update this post in case anyone else has a similar problem in the future. I thought the mic cable might be loose on the back of the head unit but not the case. I routed the mic cable through the headliner and put it in the overhead console. When I put the sunvisor back in the mic cable got pinched and grounded itself. Repaired the wire, re-routed the cable and now it's perfect.

Check out your mic cable and make sure it's not pinched or stretched.
