Hi,pleaseeee help....i searched everywhere on this site,couldnt find the best solution for this problem,Im in vancouver,BC,canada and i bought a PIONEER AVIC F900BT in december 2008. Heres the problem:

Its been a week that the unit is off,when i start the car the lights and the blue screen come up for like 20-30 seconds and then it shuts off!! Everything is black,its like theres no power! I pushed the reset button a few times,same thing happens! On for like 30 seconds and the off!! I took it to where i got it installed,they checked eveything,fuse and connection was all good!! He couldnt figure it out!! Now i dont know if its a common problem or not.I read a few posts,i think its a common problem,but there wasnt the right solution!!!!

IM NOT good with electronics,if someone can give me a step by step instruction that will be greattt...I really need ur help guys.I paid a 1000 bux for this unit!! Theres no pioneer is vancouver,i dont know how to send it to pioneer and stuff!

Have you recently updated the unit?

I have the exact same problem. My unit is F700BT. My unit will load splash screen and eventually goes blank. I tried installing 2.0 update from user name GSXR but that didn't help. The units starts copying and then goes blank.

I had that problem when I was first doing 3.0 update, reformatted and copied the files again....
