hi guys

i have a problem with my f700.

It keeps crashing randomly when i play music from the sd card.

Some songs it will play, some will cause a restart.

I really don't know what the problem is.

File formats are mp3 and m4a.

is there a special way of sorting them on the sd card?

Now i have folders and subfolders wit subsubfolders..

Another 'problem'

i putted a ripped cd on the SD card, and when i watch the songs in my car, it seems that they are all twice in the folder. 1 plays and 1 crashes..

anybody any idea? it's not nice when you have to wait 30 second everytime..

Can't tell you why, but can tell you the same thing happened to me.

I downloaded 9 songs, put them on a SD card and tried to play it on my F90BT. Caused long hang ups and then crash.

Finally tried to put on just one song and play it-worked fine. Added others one at a time. Played good. Finally found that just one song caused crash. Don't know why, but if I put the 8 songs on no problem--put that one on, crash every time.

You may want to try adding one song at a time and see what happens. May be a copyright issue or something unseen to us that the Pioneer unit translates as some kind of operating instruction that makes it wig out.

Do you use a MAC?

I use a MAC and when transferring files to an external media, MAC duplicates some hidden files onto the media which are not readable by the unit.

As far as the crashing goes, I had that problem and I sent it to Pioneer for a fix. All they did was reload the software and my problem still exist. Not as frequent, but still does it.
