I haven't done any modding for the F900BT, but I work in IT, and I believe that the line you changed is a commented line(the ";" is sometimes used as a comment)

I think the one you want to change is this one:

planned_road = "",64,240,64

Your right on the money! :D

Eppler do you have any idea where to change the color of the ground all around in the schemes zip? Not the roads but the ground.

I got this from another thread and thought the same thing. The person asking said it worked great. I even changed all the planed roads and it did not work but I will try again to see if I made a mistake.

alpha_arrow = 5

Sorry no, it is relating to the ground color only in built up areas, the parameter "ground" is for other non built up areas, the parameter dayheightcolor in Pioneer Ui common also has an effect on the background or terrain colour.

I have been modifying mine to make the streets more visible so have found that things are a bit interdependent.

Ok now that makes sense. See i'm using a scheme from igo8.3 that someone made. In igo8.3 with leetlauncher the terrain color is green which is what i want, but when i put it into the avic and i hit the map button, the terrain quickly comes up green but then seems to rewrite to a bland white color. I could never understand why and i guess with you saying dayheightcolor has an affect on the color maybe thats the problem. So how can i correct this with the dayheightcolor file? any suggestions?

There is some iGO color editor software out there that lets you edit colors a bit easier. Also, while there is some generic "ground" ( code 0) color, it's not used all that often, unless you are in the desert. There are separate colors for built-up areas of different kinds, water bodies, forests, wetlands, etc. Best bet is to look at a number of existing color schemes and see what goes where.

day/night heightcolormap is the file used to blending with the map to do 3D-appearance of the landscape.
