Hi.

I don't know is this a BT problem or unit itself (F90-bt) or my phone (samsung sgh-T329- stripe) but when I make a call I don't see the little window with call volume and red hang up button. And when I recieve call I have this window, but it always switching me to map and then window appears on the bottom.I had this issue from the begining (last Xmass), and still have it,even after 2.06 update. Thanks for any help.

This is a common issue that you would have seen if you used the search button......anyway.....Go to this link and try both bluetooth software updates. Try the primary first, then the alternative. Each time you will have to pair your phone again. This may or may not solve your problem.

Sorry for my laziness, and thanks for prompt response.Primary update didn't change anything I will try alternate right now. And what you saying is that I will have to "live" with issue if the alternative update will not work? Is this unit's fault or my phone?

After doing the BT firmare, make sure to reset your AVIC unit by pressing the little reset button with a pin, and make sure to reset your phone by pulling out the battery.

You will also want to check if there is a firmware upgrade for your phone.

The AVIC unit uses Parrot bluetooth, so it's really not pioneers fault. If the phone still does not work, you are screwed and will have to live with it!

On a side note, I have had a ROZR, iphone, and one other phone i cant remember working on this unit just fine.

There is a new version 3.0 that is coming out soon. Search this site for info about it. Costs $60 from pionner.

Please let us know what you have done, and if anything works.....was there a firmware update for your phone?

Actually, It's working now on alternative BT firmware (it was 2.9 I believe). I noticed a little bit sound quality loss, but still better then not to have an option to hang up on someone in the middle of conversation (my wife ? lol:-) Thanks a lot.
