I am a noob and still learning this unit, so dont flame me too bad. my unit was working just fine, it was a little slow for my liking, but it worked. well, on a long drive( my truck was on for probably 7 hours ) it started recycling power. when it started up, it took 5 or 6 minutes to get off of the start page, and then i wasnt able to navigate past the first screen. the next day it worked just fine on the way to work, but after that morning it has been messed up. it freezes, takes way too long to load, and turns itself off frequently. it is not even usable right now. i dont know much, but it seems like a software problem. i have done numerous resets with no luck.i need help, and bad. any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

ok, i am lost. i am pretty sure i need to reload my firmware. i dont have it(2.0) and i have no idea how to load it or make a back up. sorry for the stupid questions, i just need some help. thanks in advance.

if you didn't alter anything, just return it for warranty

The firmware is available through pioneers website www.pioneerelectronics.com. As for a backup, I have a copy that you could download, I'd just need an email address to set you up at the site I have it stored at.
