Hi there, I have an old 360 lying around that I'm going to be sending off for repair, but just wondered is it possible to hook one up to the AVIC-D3? I wouldn't do it if I didn't have one spare, just the fact that I do

I've also heard I might need to get something called something like a sine wave converter, is that right?

The 360 will hook up to the AVIC via the component video cable, however to run power your would need a Power inverter to turn the 12volts into 110. You can pick one of these up anywhere (wal-mart, pep boys, ect.) I prefer to hard wire them instead of taking up a cig lighter, but they usually come with the cig lighter plug.
