backing up before update

OK i've been searching for a while and it seems strange i cant find the answer but if any one can help me out with a quick link that'll be great.

 

before i update to 3.0 i'd like to backup my 2.0.

What do i have to do to back this up?

which files do i have to go in and copy from the unit to save on my comp?

1)go into testmode

2)you have to copy the entire myflashdisk, be sure your using an SD that has 2gig or more capacity
