I was wondering if anyone has ever painted the metra dash kit gloss black to match the unit? I have a 300c and the avic looks small in the factory navigation space. I think by painting the dash kit to match the unit, it will blend more.

I've painted a ton of dash kits, but that's usually after molding them in to look like it came that way. If you want to paint yours, use the krylon fusion paint. It's made to bond better to plastic.
