I've been reading through several threads for the past 2 hours and best I can tell the iPhone works for music use with the D3 using the ib-200 cable with functional controls. I however, do not get music unless I switch to video function and don't have any control via the D3. I realize this will never charge my iPhone, but I would like to have the control at least.

Am I missing something or did I just misread several pages of posts?????
