Problem with Z1 Moved to new car.... XM works but doesn't

I moved my Z1 to my wifes car cause I don't really use it anymore and there are a couple of problems.

A bunch of the buttons don't work but I had a bypass installed on my car that was not transfered to hers so it acts like the parking brake signal isn't there.

More importantly I moved my XM receiver, the GEX-P10XMT and it shows all the XM Channels and what is playing on them... it just won't play any sound. My library plays sound and so does the FM/AM stations.

I called XM before today and they sent a refresh signal but when I went to the info screen it says the signal is strong but the status is updating still, I have left the radio on for about 4 hours now and it updates what songs are playing but doesn't play any sound.

Any ideas??

Thanks.

As for the greyed buttons, you need to either connect the parking brake wire, or do the 2 wire bypass. When you do the 2 wire bypass, you may need to do the firmware upgrade for it to work since it sounds like you had the flasher bypass for an early model Z1.

For the XM sound, did you connect power and ground (black wire and yellow wire)? I am sure you did since you can see the XM channels. Also confirm that you have properly connected the IP bus cable and the data cable. There should be TWO cables between the XM unit and the Z1.

You aren't getting sound because you put the P-bus cable in the wrong hole. Move it to the other one on the XM box
