In 3D mode, I get the 4 arrows and center button on my F-series Avic periodically...it's really annoying and I don't know how to remove it.

that is the tilt setting, it pops up whenever you click on the map,

in order to cut costs and remain competitive, a hard (printed) copy of the operation manual is not included with your unit. If you put the red and white CD-ROM into your computer, you will discover a soft copy of the operation manual located thereon.

I never received a cd with the unit as it came preinstalled in my car...

I just downloaded it from the Pioneer website. I chose to then print it & Staples put a spiral onto it for me for about $5 and I keep it in the glove box. I've had to reference it often. Saves a lot of questions. Keep in mind it's 192 pages, I think, or somewhere near there. I printed 2 pages to a 8.5" X 11" page, then double sided it, so 4 pages to a sheet. Still took a lot of paper, but I like having it.

I still think IDT should have his own forum for the x-series, or those who have the full 3.010100 update.
