Cut Antenna Wire

I have an AVIC-Z1. Antenna connection is non-existant. I checked the wire and sure enough its cut... Almost completely in half lol. I have a roof mounted receiver.

 

Question- Can I splice the antenna wire so I dont have to wire up a new one, since I didnt install this one? Or do I just have to bite the bullet and replace this one entirely and have to run the wire all over.

Don't slice or splice your wiring, there's a good chance your hardware will not work when you are finished. This is also true for the mic wire.

Good enough for me. Anyone know of a good place to buy a new one? Im an audio noob obviously.

Search ebay for "AVIC antenna". They are less than $20 shipped.
