Hi just gotmyself a F900BT today and just ran into a bit of a boggle.

ive been looking around the forums to find out how to disable the "No Video while Driving" feature, found alot of helpfull info but none really answered all the questions i had... with most other head units ive dealt with this problem by just grounding the handbrake and this seems to do the trick, is this the case with the F900BT (AU) or do i need to do some sort of rewiring with the loom there aswel??

ive seen a couple posts where people are talking about a bypass method where they move the Mute cable from the from back of the head unit loom to another terminal on the loom. is this just to allow video playback while driving or does it have another purpose?

and i havnt seen anyone complaing about this but can the GPS reciever in any way foil the Handbrake / Bypass hack and lock you out if it detects the car is moving?

Any replies will be greatly appriciated kinda need answers quick cause im still tossing up weather or not i want to keep this unit or look around for something else...

i thought you already read the bypass thread? the how to won't be created if it's just a matter of grounding the paarking break wire, i don't want to be sounding like an ass or anything it's just that everythings already laid out, and it's just up to users to follow it,

all is good ts just that ive install a fair few head units and never heard of moving the mute wire before just wanted to confirm this had to be done aswel,

This would be *WHY* we have a FAQ and 3 different bypass threads! because simply grounding the e-brake lead from the unit doesn't work that way. This is all covered in the aforementioned Bypass threads you keep glossing over. If you just had to ground the e-brake lead we wouldn't have those threads and people constantly asking "how to I watch video/adjust settings when I'm moving"

The Pioneer is not any other unit. The bypass will only work if done the right way. All other methods that you speak of have been tried and failed. Just follow the instructions for F series bypass and it will work. Trust us, this is the the place to go for this kind of stuff.
