I was wondering if somebody could help me out. My Z3 tilt button won't fuction anymore. I can't tilt it out, nor can I open it to put in a CD/DVD. Everything else works just as it should. When I hold down the Tilt button to get the tilt adjustment screen, it pops up in adjustment mode just fine. But when I try to tilt it out, it makes one beep, then goes back to the audio video menu. If I just push it one time to try and open it, it beeps one time and then does nothing. It's now stuck in the flat postion, with no tilt. Anybody got any ideas on what I can do to fix it ??

Make sure it's not catching anywhere along the frame.... Sounds as if it's stuck/catching in some way...

I was able to fix it in 5 minutes. I didn't even have to take the radio out. I took of the Dash trim, and looked underneath the radio for the "moon shaped" metal cutout. There is a white plastic piece just inside that cutout, and the white plastic piece has a small round hole in it. I got one of those eyeglass philips head screwdrivers, jut because it was "short" enough to get it underndeath my radio. I didn't have enough clearance underneath with a regular small screwdriver. I left it all powered up. Then I stuck the philips head into the hole, and while I pushed the TILT button, I also pulled the white plastic piece inside "clock-wise".... it immediately unstuck and now its working again. I didn't even have to take the radio out, nor disconnect any wires. I supposed the hole in the white plastic piece is some sort of manual tilt adjustment..... it didn't feel like it move at all when I pulled hard on it clock-wise.... but it did the trick hitting the tilt button at the same time. Hope this helps somebody else in the future.
