I have two dumb questions, sorry in advanced.

A- i know it says unhook the ipod does that mean just unhook the ipod or the entire cable from the back of the unit

B- do i want to install the formatted or unformatted version. im using a macbook if that means anything

I left the cable in the back, just unhooked the iPod. But that was my situation (to cover my butt)

 

Not sure which version I did, think the unformatted cause it didn't take long.
