Today, just before my exit junction on the M25 on the way to my sisters 40th, mt sat nav started telling me I was in Paris, checking the connections screen in settings, showed as still connected and receiving but would not move location (although the map was moving, presumably as a result of the gyro and speed sensor), I checked all the wiring which seemed ok, and as a last resort reset the unit , and it worked ! is this just a one off glitch, or a sign of impending doom?

Yesterday, on a 250 mile trip, the sat nav told me I was in paris 6-7 times, after 5 minutes or so it came back, when checking the signal, I seemed to have lost reception, a couple of times whilst on the phone, the screen also went blank.

Is it just the sat receiver loosing connection, or is this the unit itself dying?
