Hello everyone,

So I'm new to hacking Pioneers, only 17, but I really want to do a software bypass on my AVIC-F700BT. I've been reading around, and still am pretty clueless on how to go about this. I know I need to download files, but I don't know how to get into Testmode on my new F700BT and copy files. I don't want to go fishing around either in fear that I'll brick the unit. Can someone give me some guidance, steps, links, downloads, etc.? It would be really appreciated.

What is a software bypass referring to?

i got a better idea, just do the hardware bypass instead, faster, easier, and no chance of bricking your unit.

also, bypassing is considered a hack, there are many threads in the hack section devoted to bypassing units, where they have very detailed instructions and some have pictures
