Well I recieved an offer I could not refuse and sold my Avic, going back to an alpine ixa-305, and will use my tom tom when I need navigation, the 60-100 second wait is just a bit unlivable for me, I thought I could get used to it but it really became a pain, cant adjust the volume until the system finished booting.

 

I know the 3.0 update is on the way but I don't expect much improvement. I wish this forum did other stereos because there is nothing like this for Alpine. my hope is that someday pioneer gets everything working well so I can come back, Best wishes to all and good luck.
