my unit all of a sudden started making these weird noises like a clicking noise and like it is trying to shuffle, please help how do i fix this

Does it sounds like maybe the DVD drive loading/ejecting a disc? You might try loading a disc in the DVD player.

yes that is exactly what it sounds like i put a dvd in it and it works fine but when i take it out and play cd the noise is back

Sounds like the drive may need to be replaced...

is there a way to tranfer all music that i have from my hdd to a new one if i get a hdd upgrade from u also is there a way to soft reset system w/o loosing all date on hdd

I do not have any idea on how to fix your issue, since I don't know exactly what is causing it. You need to seek local electronics repair, or return the unit to Pioneer for repair. Yes, you music can be moved from the old drive to the new drive. I will PM you pricing.

You can do a level 1 or level 2 reset without loosing your music. See your owner's manual or use the forum search in the upper right corner on this board.
