Here's a brief tutorial on what to do.

I got mine working just fine. I added some sound files that I have used on mine that I made and liked. You can use them or not.

Add this entire layer of code right above the “

;house numbers display 

 

Then ADD this code : (onrelease='ui_HouseNumbers.SHOW' onclick='playsound "!button"' ) to the end of the code string in "" or copy and replace yours:

***I am using IDT's Mod For Example***

Then, add this code (onrelease='ui_HouseNumbers.SHOW' onclick='playsound "!house_number_show"') in BOTH lines of the " " string right before the "'USE_SEPARATED_SAFETY_MODE=0"..or again, copy and replace:

;route name and housenumber(next and the third road name)

 

Finally, add these audio files to your "Audio" folder (if you want them..I made them myself and I kinda like the sound) you will have to IM me for the .wav files 'cause I can't upload 'em.

... if not then change the "'playsound" to the default of "!button"

Hey Bud- Nice work! One question... at the bottom of your post there is some loose code that doesnt have any instructions:

Where does that go?

Those are just the names of the sound bytes that I made for the button taps. When you tap the street name bar at the bottom of the screen (where the usual house number mods were activated) it will say "House Number Show" and when you tap the house icon adjacent to the numbers it will say "House Number Hide".

Just a little something extra. I made sound bytes for all of the buttons on my own version. The mediafire links at the bottom of the posting was the direct link to both of the files. They go into the "datazip/audio" folder.

I did notice, however that the numbers are showing up in reverse. They are indicating on the opposite sides of the street.

I will fix that and re-post.
