Hi I'm thinking of changing my old avh-7500 dvd for a z110bt but I'm still unsure because I don't want to loose the tv wich I use a lot.(I live in canada so the analog tv tuner work fine.)

1) First can I connect a tv tuner to the z110bt?

2)if so is there some way I can use the one in the avh-7500 since it not a seperate unit but part of the box that is connected to the avh-7500?

3) If not can I connect a seperate analog pioneer tv tuner?(if I can find one, good luck!)

4)Another option would be to use a digital tv tuner connecting it thru I assume an aux input wich some people seem to have done.

Does it work well? Any sugestion for a model with a remote?

On another subject i've notice that the z110bt not have an Irfor a remote on the front of the unit.I drive a 2006 Altima and I use a PAC unit that use a IR repeater for the stering wheel control, does that mean that I cannot use the control on the stering anymore?Or the remote for that matter?

Thank's to all for taking the time to reply.

1. Not that has been released by Pioneer yet, probably never either.

2. Dont know, probably not

3. Through the AV1 probably, if you can find one.

4. This is your best bet, forget all this other nonsense, look into this.

And finally, as you stated, there is no ir port that the Z can receive from. Get the PAC SWI-PS and retain your steering wheel controls.

It will have to be a digital tuner now and there is no easy way of doing that really.

With the switch to Digital TV, there aren't alot of digital TV tuners out yet. And quite frankly, those that are out are of limited use. They work OK-ish when the car is parked, but once you start moving they don't work well ( if at all).

Thank's everyone I'll try a digital tv tuner via av input. As far as the reception goes; for me the car is always park since it in my taxi;so it while i'm wating for clients. The analog tuner give me 12 stations.

I know that Kenwood is working on a prototype that they showed at the C.E.S. call the MPH digital tv tuner. The image will be stable up to 120 mph; can't wait for it to come out.

I'm wondering if I should buy a DNX 9140 instead at wait for it to come out.

Unless Pioneer is working on someting similar.

I don't like also that on the z110bt there is no dts decoder and that the dolby digital is downmix to stereo (uh?? flagship unit??)

Pioneer keep selling the center channel speaker;don't kown why!
