Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a used AVICZ1 upgraded to a Z3 a couple of days ago, with no manual/instructions, and I recently had it installed into my car (2007 Ford Mustang); I had it professionally installed, but after it was finished, the person who installed it told me that I was missing a wire harness that connects to my stock amps and subs, and that the part isn't a Ford or aftermarkey part, but a Pioneer part; everything works perfectly, including the speakers - but it bugs me that I'm missing a component to my system - so my question is this:
Can anyone provide me the specific part/# of this harness? (I'd check the manual for the parts list, but none was provided when I bought it, and it's $8 bucks to buy it from Pioneer!)
Also, I've been getting to know the Z1, and there's a couple more things if anyone could help me out:
I've seen the scenery change when you're in the "map" mode driving at night (the sky turns from daylight to night time), and there seems to be an option for the map to be turned into "day/night" and "automatic", but I when I switch to "automatic" (assuming when driving during the day, the scenery is day time, and driving at night, the scenery should change to night time), the scenery is still daylight, which is pretty dangerous considering the brightness of the screen while driving at night. Are all systems like this, or is mine just messed up?
And my last question: The previous owner apparently drove a Lexus, and the background screen are all Lexus themed, how do I delete them, and upload my own background?
I know it's a lot of questions, but the help would be very much appreciated!!
