Hello, I have just bought a new F700BT so I guess you could call me a n00b.

When I first installed the stereo I noticed that when I use any type of audio source other than radio my subwoofer goes silent. I sent it in to Pioneer and they sent it back saying there were no problems with my unit!

Do any of you guys have the same problem? How did you fix it?

I have the 2.0 upgrade from pioneer and no mods or hacks as of this moment but am willing to install anything that could fix it.

This might happen if you have switched remote amp turn on wire and the antenna amplifier power wire when the unit was installed.

Quick check: go into AV System Settings screen and change "Ant Ctrl" from "Radio" to "Power". If you subwqoofer works all the time now, wires were switched and you need to connect them properly.
