So I installed the pioneer update, yea spent the 68 bux.. disk 1 installed, came to the password, pioneers site gives the wrong one, get a new one, now its invalid. Called Pioneer, they say too bad, send it in..

here is the deal, if someone can help me get it back working with 3.0 update, great... otherwise I'm taking it out tonight and tossing it in the trash and going back to my stock Altima radio. If its easier to talk to me, I can give you an 800 number and you can call me at my house.. otherwise I think I have all I need for the 3.0 update and going to try and kill the unit some more..

Try Loading a different version. Like 2.0 or just using the directions in this feed and install this 3.0. I did last night and it went flawless. viewtopic.php?f=34&t=25751

And if you have a 2gb card all files will fit on it at once.

I"m not a torrent person so using torrent is not going to work..

On a side note, I am able to get to WinCE and copy files at this point, the audio is back working. I think its only the navigation as the screen is stuck on starting system. So I'm working on replacing those files from the Pioneer disk I have. I'm close...

Not sure what I'm missing everything comes up but navigation, stuck at system starting up screen but I get audio and everything else.. got to be something I'm missing now..

Boot into Testmode and launch EZRider form there. That way it gives normal iGO diagnostic output so you can see at what point it stops.

I will try this shortly, I got a call back from Pioneer (shocked) they gave me wrong info of course before, the new info they gave me so far is working. If this does not work in about 40 mins I'll try what you suggested. Thanks

Yea they called back, apologized and fixed the unit!!!! I fell off my chair, since I told the tech guy he could have my unit in 1000 little pieces if he wants me to send it in.. The Manager called back and set me up.
