I have a 06 Grand Prix and a Aviz-Z1....I recently put in a PAC SWI-X and i was wondering what are some general tips/guide for this part.

REad the instructions at least 3 or 4 times. If you have hair shave it off, this way you aren't tempted to rip it out. Sorry I normally end up spending at least an hour to get the swix programmed properly.

As long as you install correctly, the programing shouldn't be hard.
I programed mine within 10 min.

Just read the instructions e few times before you start, get familiar with the sequence and you shouldn't have any troubles.
