Pioneer has the CD-IB100 on sale for $45 but they also list the CD-IB100II for $50. Can anyone tell me the difference (besides one is gray and one is black...)?

Here is the link to Pioneer Z1 parts.

The II has a slightly thicker docking connector.

That's it.

The color of the box is different too. Can't for get that, it makes all the difference in the world. :0

They got rid of the double cable going to the connector, using a single, thicker cable. Oh, and like cntrylvr said, it's a bit heavier because of the black paint.

Heavier because of the paint huh? hehe

So, for functionality it doesn't matter then, right? So, I may as well go with the cheaper one? Do you find installs to be the same with either one?

Thanks again!

Install may be slightly easier on the older one if you're cutting a hole in something to run the cable through. As mentioned before, the connector on the new one is bigger that the older one which used the regular apple connector
