Damn.... I'm loving it... VC is awesome compared to the Z3's... I also like that you can chose from the multiple routes that are displayed on the left... Great video

If it only had IR, I would have had one weeks ago.... :(

This is great stuff or guys like me who live too far away from places that have this in stock and on display... I've seen your vids on both the Kenwoood and now the Z110, and I really appreciate them all.

Ive read the user manual an the z110, but I still cant get a sense of how easy/user friendly the sirius/xm interface is... especially navigating the presets. Could you comment (or post a vid/screenshots if you have the time) on how user-friendly the presets for sat radio is?

My wife will be the main user of this in our conversion van, and the things she will use most frequently will be sat radio and ipod audio/video interface....

Thanks again for your efforts on sharing your experiences on both these units VBLUE42!

When you fast foward on the cloverfield video I'm assuming that you are using the stering wheel control, since I don't see you touching the unit? Am I correct?

In the video for the XM interface, you mention the button for XM Nav-traffic. I thought that this service wasn't available for the AVIC-Z110BT unit? Since MSN Direct has been discontinued, it would be nice to be able to get Nav-traffic. Can you please confirm if it is available or not. Thank you!

Not in the way you are thinking. It is just a radio station that will give you traffic for the biggest cities. It does not interface with the navi software and will not reroute you around traffic.

Are you sure? I have the traffic station for NY programed to a pre set but on the details screen there is a separate button that says "Traffic" and when you press it it goes to the preview station as if you are not subscribed.

Thats pretty much what I said, its a radio station, thats it. It will not reroute you through the navi software or indicate traffic incidents on the map as the NavTraffic service will.

XM NAV TRAFFIC is not just a station on the radio. It's a module that provides a direct interface into the navigation module. It apears that Garmin is now partnering with XM as their added feature solution.

But it looks like we'll still miss the gas updates, movies, etc.
