I need a good installer for my 2002 carrera 4 cab. I have the z1, ipod adapter, BT adapter on the way.

I checked with one local shop here in Salt Lake City, but they wanted far too much and they said if I didn't buy from them, it would void the Pioneer warranty. Sheeesh. They wanted $2400 for the whole thing installed.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Not sure if I want to take this on and try it myself. Never done it before.

I had my C2 cab installed locally in Montreal. I know a great installer here - if you feel like going taking a drive.

 

Two suggestions for you, based on my experience:

 

1. Add a backup camera - it's worth every penny.

 

2. Ask your installer to add a custom relay to allow the unit to stay on until you exit from the car - GM style.
